2EnhanceNZ helps organisations understand complex problems, improve how their systems connect, and turn strategic direction into practical delivery.

How 2EnhanceNZ helps
For work that needs clearer direction, stronger delivery or a system that finally joins up.

Find what matters, what is getting in the way and where change will add value.
Align direction, people, decisions, work and evidence around the outcome.
Turn strategy into clear priorities, practical roles and confident action.
Selected work
A few examples of work completed across complex environmental and operational programmes. They are intentionally summarised to respect client and project confidentiality.
Designed an integrated pathway connecting risk screening, operational planning, certification, implementation evidence and audit—so strategic and regulatory expectations could be carried through into work on the ground.
Made the whole delivery pathway visible, usable and accountable.Brought land exposure, infrastructure, communities, defendability, readiness and biodiversity together in a catchment-scale prioritisation approach, then translated regional priorities into practical sequencing within each catchment.
Turned many competing considerations into a defensible basis for action.Drawing on direct experience as a Land Manager, developed an independent draft strategy for programme leaders to review and refine. Supporting operational documents set out the people, capability, systems, resources, monitoring and implementation arrangements needed for effective delivery.
Provided a credible starting point for turning direction into a workable delivery system.Experience behind the work
2EnhanceNZ draws on more than 20 years of senior programme leadership across government, forestry and conservation—connecting strategy, operational reality and long-term outcomes.
Land and environmental experience grounds the work. It does not limit the problems 2EnhanceNZ can help solve.

Dean Evans — Managing Director. A senior programme and transition leader who improves how complex systems are designed, connected and delivered.
Dean works where strategy, policy and operational delivery meet—especially when good work is already happening, but it is not yet clear whether all the right parts are in place or working together as well as they could. He also helps organisations design new programmes with the right foundations from the outset.

Start with the challenge
You do not need to arrive with the problem fully defined. A useful first conversation might begin with a specific challenge, something that could work better, or an opportunity to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
